You've been waiting for it, here are our picks of the best bands of 2022!

#5: THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE

At number 5 we have The Brian Jonestown Massacre, they have made us feel like the '#1 LUCKY KITTY' after releasing 'Fire Doesn't Grow on Trees', 3 years after their last album! We feel blessed!

#4: ARCTIC MONKEYS

We just have to mention their comeback late into the year with the moody and hazy album 'The Car' giving us a new sense of maturity and a new atmosphere we haven't explored with the band before.

#3: KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD

With two albums released this year, 'Omnium Gatherum' and 'Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms And Lava', King Gizzard have come booming through the year and due to their unstoppable song-writing forces, we've ranked them at number 3.

#2: WET LEG

Wet Leg has come booming through the year with spouts of success and skyrocketing hits all featured on their first full-length album - they even had Harry Styles do a fantastic cover of 'Wet Dream', how lucky! We do have to admit that 'Ur Mum' is our favourite. What's yours?

#1: IDLES

And IDLES are our number 1 due to their smashing and angsty album Five Years of Brutalism which has us all head-banging in our seats! We are very happy for the lads, especially with their tour across the globe. A toast to all you lads, we don't think we'll ever get enough of Joe Talbot's screaming!
